Contract of Service: Wedding Event public

This is a contract that may be used between a photographer and a bride/groom.

I, Rebecca Evans ("Photographer"), will furnish number hours of wedding event photographic coverage on date for Client name(s) ("Client").

Exclusive Reservation

Photographer will be exclusive photographer retained by Client. Family and friends of clients may take pictures, providing they do not interfere with the photographer’s duties. Any interference which compromises Photographer's ability to provide sufficient service will not be held against Photographer.

Upon signed submission of this document and the $### engagement session and reservation fee, the agreed-upon wedding date will be reserved for the Client only. If a cancellation is made by Client before a reservation fee is paid, no money shall be due. If a cancellation is made by Client after reservation fee is paid, reservation fee shall not be refunded and engagement session fee will only be refunded if the engagement session has not taken place prior to the cancellation. In the unlikely event that Photographer must cancel services, reservation fee and any fee for services not yet rendered will be reimbursed to Client.

Client must send the full balance ($###) by two weeks before wedding date, or risk losing the exclusive reservation of Photographer.

Photographer Provisions

Client shall provide Photographer the following:

  • One meal(s) during the reception on the date of the wedding; Photographer will eat when the bride eats
  • A detailed response to the photographer-provided ceremony questionnaire.
  • Timely responses to requests and questions.

Delivery and Quality Commitment

Photographer promises to return images to the clients within six weeks from the date of coverage. Images and print release will be delivered digitally.

While every reasonable effort will be made to produce and deliver outstanding photographs of the events, Photographer’s entire liability to the clients for any claim or loss arising from Photographer's performance is limited to a return of the monies paid by Client. In the unlikely event of illness or other circumstances, Client may terminate this agreement and receive a refund of monies paid above and beyond the reservation fee.

Independent Contractor & Image Ownership

Photographer is not construed as an employee, but as an independent contractor to Client only.

Client will receive high resolution images which may be printed at Client will using the provided print release. High resolution images may not be sold, edited, or enhanced in any way.

Client agrees not to alter or apply any filter to any image shared--especially when using a picture sharing network (such as Instagram, VSCO cam, etc.). Client agrees to post a link to Photographer's website, Facebook business page, Instagram, and/or Twitter profile with any delivered image shared online. If Client needs this information, Photographer shall provide it upon request.

Images are owned by Photographer and may be used by Photographer for promotional purposes. Client will retain rights to print and share images, but may not sell images or enter them into competitions without prior consent by Photographer.

Termination of Services

Client agrees that Photographer shall retain the right to terminate services on the spot in the event that Photographer is harassed by Client or other wedding guests on the day of wedding.
