Entire Agreement: This agreement contains the entire understanding between the Client and the Videographer.

Confirmation: A signed “Wedding Videography Contract” and payment of the booking fee are necessary to confirm the stated wedding services from the Videographer.

Pre-Wedding Consultation: The Client and the Videographer will meet when convenient to both parties to discuss what is required and to go over planning, logistics and timings where needed. Preferably this takes place approximately 3 months prior to the wedding date. Additional discussions are welcome closer to the time of the wedding (about 1.5 weeks-1.5 months) to iron out the remaining details. In any case, the Videographer will contact you by phone a few days before the wedding to ensure that there have been no last minute changes.

Cooperation: The Client and the Videographer consent to happily cooperating and communicating with each other to achieve the best possible result within the understanding of this contract. It is recommended that the Videographer be provided with a helper (usually someone in the wedding party) who will point out key individuals to be filmed throughout the wedding ceremony and reception. The Client also agrees to give the Videographer sufficient warning of key events at the wedding to give the Videographer time to prepare (e.g. Bouquet throwing, cutting the cake, speeches, etc.) This can be done through an itinerary given before the wedding as well. Please note that not all guests at weddings like being filmed. In such cases the Videographer will use discretion but cannot be held responsible for a lack of cooperation.

The Schedule: Both the Client and the Videographer agree that punctuality and cooperation are essential to producing outstanding results. In cases where the wedding does not run on time, the Videographer will do her absolute best to compensate and accommodate.

"Paparazzi" Wedding Guests: It is common for wedding guests to have digital cameras and cell phone cameras that are used to film the Client during the ceremony and reception. In the spirit of cooperation the Client agrees to give the Videographer precedence over the guests in order to film the required content for the wedding services described above.

House Rules: Note the Videographer is sometimes limited by rules imposed by registrars, ministers and venue management as to what can and cannot be done. For example some ministers insist that no filming is allowed, and others will insist that the videographer shoot from a specific location. In such circumstances the Client agrees to accept the technical limitations that may be imposed on the equipment used. We advise the Client to make themselves aware of the rules of the venue concerned and if necessary negotiate with the personnel concerned while keeping the Videographer informed or involved in these discussions.

Copyright Law: The copyright of footage remains with the videographer . The Videographer grants the Client permission to make copies of the images under the following conditions. The video taken by the Videographer are for personal use by the Client and their friends and relatives. Sale, Publication or any Commercial use of videos is not allowed without prior written permission from the Videographer.

Model Release: The Client grants the Videographer and its legal representatives, heirs and assigns, the irrevocable and unlimited consent to use the videos of the Client for editorial, competition, advertising and any other purpose and in any manner, to alter the videos without restriction; and to copyright the video. The Client hereby releases the Videographer and its legal representatives, heirs and assigns from all liability and claims in connection with the images.

Limit of Liability: If the Videographer is too ill or becomes injured and cannot supply the wedding services specified above, the Videographer will do everything in her power to book a replacement wedding Videographer at no additional cost to the Client. If this is not accomplished, liability is limited to a refund of all payments received. The Videographer has working methods in place to prevent loss or damage of any kind to your video. However, there is the unlikely possibility that video may be lost, stolen or destroyed for reasons in or beyond her control. In these circumstances liability is limited to the return of all fees paid for the service or part thereof according to the percentage of images supplied.

We have understood the contents of this contract and agree to the terms therein.
