Privacy policy for ZeBlocker - Call blocker Android application.

This privacy policy governs your use of the software application ZeBlocker – Call blocker (“Application”) for mobile devices that was created by Zecave. The Application is used for blocking calls, according to a blacklist made by the user that is stored on the local device, or optionally by searching the telephone number of incoming calls at the third-party service

What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?

User Provided Information

The Application obtains the information you provide when you add telephone numbers to the local blacklist. The blacklist is only present on the users own device unless the user has selected the option to make a backup to the users own Google Play account. An optional backup on the users own Google Play account is only used for being able to restore the blacklist to the users own devices. Telephone numbers can be added to the applications local blacklist through the usage of the users contact book or call log. None of the data provided by the user from the contact book or call log is sent to any third-parties.

Automatically Collected Information

The phones state is necessary information for knowing when there is an incoming call so that the application service can start and verify if the call should be blocked or not. All other information that is automatically collected by the application consists of the date, time and the telephone number of the call that has been successfully blocked by the application, according to the user supplied blacklist or by the usage of the third-party service If allowed, is only used for searching their database for a match, if a match for the telephone number of the incoming call is not already present in the blacklist. If a match is found the application will block the incoming call.

Does the Application collect precise real time location information of the device?

This Application does not collect information about the location of your mobile device.

Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?

Yes. Data is only shared with third-parties if the setting for using the third-party service has been enabled in the application settings. The only data that is being sent to is the telephone number of the incoming call, and it is only done to improve the block rate of the application.

We may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

The data that is collected by the application is only stored in it's own local database. The database consists of the blacklist that is supplied by the user, and a log that logs all the calls that has been successfully blocked by the application on the current device. Please note that this information is required for the application to function properly. If the option for using the third-party service has been selected, only searches of telephone numbers from the incoming calls will be stored in their service. No user specific data is being sent or is being stored in their service.

The data that is available to the application is only user supplied and not stored in any other place than on the users own device, or in the users own Google Play account if the backup option has been enabled.
