Between Aleksandra Valente and Heart's Content Consignment
You, Heart's Content Consignment are hiring Aleks Valente Designto design and develop a personalized logo, basic website design and other print media materials. The agreed payment plan is at the end of the document.
As the client, you, Heart's Content, have the power and ability to enter into this contract on behalf of your company or organization. You agree to provide Aleks with everything that is needed to complete the project including text, images and other information as needed. You agree to review the work, provide feedback and sign-off approval.
Details of the works
The designer will create a unique logo, print materials in appropriate format and basic website design. This contract includes one main basic website design plus the opportunity for you to make up to two rounds of revisions, free of charge. If you're not happy with the designs at this stage, you may continue to commission Aleks to make further design revisions at the hourly set out in the pricing estimate.
When final payment is received, copyright is automatically assigned as follows:
You own the graphics and other visual elements that we create for you for this project. We will give you a copy of all files as needed.
The designer is allowed to show off her work and share what she has learned with other people, so she also reserves the right to display and link to your completed project as part of her portfolio and to write about the project on web sites, in magazine articles and in books about design, if the opportunity ever arises.
$150 total for usage and distribution of unique logo design, as well as website and domain ownership, and two revisions of said website design.
After the aforementioned 2 revisions, the hourly rate is $50, rounded down to the hour (i.e. if 1.5 hours worked, 1 hour charged).
This contract stays in place and need not be renewed. If for some reason one part of this contract becomes invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts of it remain in place.
